DIY Paper Bow

If you have kids in home then you gonna love this DIY paper bow craft.

Its easy and does not demand much time. 20 to 30 minutes are sufficient to complete the project and at the end you will have a very nice looking paper bow.

Its not just fun projects for kids, you can even use these bow to stick on a gift-wrap. It add some extra love to your gift ideas.

To complete DIY paper bow we will require a white or colorful paper, scissor, pencil, glue, color pen or color pencils(if you have taken white paper).



Once you decide whether you want to take color paper or just white one then fold the paper in the middle and draw the designs of bow. Make sure that both sides of bow design are symmetrical.


After you finish your drawings, cut out these bow designs with freehand. At this stage you will have three different designs as shown below.

First is BAND, second is LOOP & third is TAIL


We have used white paper, you can use color paper. As we have white paper designs we painted them with baby pink and added some dark pink circles to make them attractive.

White paper provides an extra space for designer within you. You can add your own colors & design them as per your requirement.

Once you finish with colors, hold both ends of LOOP and bend them till the center and stick it at center with glue.


Once you stick the both end of LOOP to the center then it should be look like a butterfly. Refer an image below.


Now layer the LOOP piece (that looks like a butterfly) on the TAIL piece of bow. Add a drop of glue at center to attache these both pieces together.

After couple of minutes wrap the BAND around the center of bow and secure it with a drop of glue at the back side of bow.


If you want, you can make a slight difference to these designs and make a different bow design.
