BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom” Deemed Ineligible For “Music Bank” K-Chart Rankings

KBS has confirmed that BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom” has been deemed ineligible for the “Music Bank” chart.

“Pink Venom” has notably been absent from the weekly chart rankings on KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” (which the music show refers to as “K-Chart”) ever since its release last month, even as two of BLACKPINK’s older songs—”Lovesick Girls” and “As If It’s Your Last“—made the latest chart at No. 38 and No. 40 respectively.

It has now been confirmed that, as many fans had speculated, “Pink Venom” was deemed ineligible for the chart due to the mention of a luxury brand name (Celine) in the song’s lyrics, which was determined to be a violation of Article 46 of the Broadcast Act. (At one point in the song, Lisa raps, “This da life of a vandal, masked up and I’m still in Celine.”)

Because YG Entertainment ultimately chose not to resubmit an edited version of the song without the brand name, “Pink Venom” was not included in the “Music Bank” K-Chart rankings.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently gearing up for the release of their second full-length album “BORN PINK,” featuring the title track “Shut Down,” on September 16. Check out their latest teasers here!

…to badass…
…and to sporty, they’re all gorgeous on her!

She recounted the time she visited a vintage store in Hongdae in BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky, saying that she frequently visits the shop because the clothes there are right up her ally. When we did the documentary with Netflix, I went to a vintage shop in Hongdae and bought this. — Lisa It may have been an expensive purchase, but it was worth it! I like vintage jeans. I like how it feels old. I just do. — Lisa She revealed that her love for vintage clothing started when she watched old films. She’s willing to drop everything and visit clothing stores as soon as inspiration hits. There are a lot of historic periods in movies. I like to see the costumes. I’d see something like that and go to a vintage shop right away Everyone can agree that she definitely looks fantastic in vintage outfits!

BLACKPINK’s Rosé Supported Lisa During Her “How You Like That” Solo Shoot, And Lisa Made Sure To Return The Favor

The members of BLACKPINK are genuine friends! In an interview with W Korea, Lisa revealed the heartwarming thing that Rosé once did for her. When they shot the “How You Like That” music video last 2020, the members had separate schedules. While some filmed their solo scenes in certain days, others had the opportunity to go home and rest. Rosé chose not to take this opportunity and instead decided to show Lisa her support. She took a picture with me as if she were a fan. — Lisa
Lisa soon returned the favor during Rosé’s solo debut. It was revealed that she visited her backstage during her first ever solo stage on Inkigayo. Lisa squeezed in time from her busy schedule with multiple commercial shoots, interviews, and the filming of Youth With You 3 just to stop by. From Rosé’s caption, it was obvious that she was touched! Look who came through today 🥺At the end of the interview, Lisa wanted to tell her fellow members and fans, “I’d like to hug them and say, ‘Thank you for always being with me.'” Their friendship is the sweetest!

Who Is Who: BLACKPINK’s Lisa Describes Her 5 Cats And Their Distinct Personalities

BLINKs all know that BLACKPINK‘s Lisa is a huge cat lover. Throughout the years, they have witnessed the singer adding new cats to her loving “L” family. Sometimes, however, it’s hard to remember which cat is which. Lisa fortunately gave us a rundown during her interview with W Korea. Check it out below! 1. Leo
First up is the oldest of the bunch, Leo! Lisa revealed that she knew he was the cat for her right away. This is the first one. The smartest, and I fell in love the moment I saw Leo. — Lisa The Scottish Fold was previously described to have a very “energetic” personality. He’s a cuddler who loves his mom as much as she loves him. 2. Luca
The second oldest is none other than Luca. He’s a male Ragdoll who was born on June 5, 2018. Unfortunately, Lisa wasn’t able to spend as much time with him as she would have liked because she was busy on tour. This led to him developing an independent and “chic” personality that she loves nonetheless. My second cat is Luca. The toughest. [He’s] cool and chic like a prince. — Lisa 3. Lily
We now move on to the only girl of the cat crew, Lily! She’s the daughter of Luca, having been born a year after him on June 14, 2019. It’s understandable why the two are so close. It’s no surprise that she’s treated just like a princess in the household! Lily is the third, the princess with the most love. — Lisa . Louis
Louis is one of the most distinguishable cats of Lisa’s thanks to his insatiable nature. He just loves food so much! Louis is the chubbiest but so cute, full of love. And he’s the loudest when he wants to eat. — Lisa In an episode of 24/365 With BLACKPINK, fans got to see Louis’ amusing eating habits. He couldn’t wait to eat his breakfast, even if it meant nibbling from the bowls of his siblings! 5. Lego
Finally, we can’t forget the maknae of the group, Lego! This adorable kitten is as energetic as expected of his age. Lisa praised him for being able to communicate with her easily. The youngest, Lego, is so upbeat and responds well. — Lisa From the brief video that Lisa posted on her Instagram page, it was evident that he was a lovable ball of sunshine!
