PSY Shocks Audience As BTS’s SUGA Joins Him On Stage At Jamsil Olympic Stadium Concert

PSY is currently on his nationwide concert tour, “Splash Show – 2022 Summer Swag.” Today, on July 16, while performing at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul, he gave his audience a huge surprise and brought out SUGA (also known as Min Yoongi) from BTS on stage!

The veteran singer was joined by the BTS rapper during the song “That That,” a smash hit track that both collaborated on back in April. Dressed in a casual white t-shirt, ripped jeans, and a beige overshirt, SUGA looked summer-ready as he moved along to the iconic choreography that is still quite a social media sensation.

Just a day ago, ARMYs on Twitter were wishing him a speedy recovery after he revealed that he couldn’t attend bandmate J-Hope’s listening party due to a cold and mild fever. But now, the fans are the ones gasping for air after discovering he appeared on stage with PSY out of nowhere and rocked a stadium full of audience!

SUGA is not only a featuring rapper on “That That.” He is also the producer and arranger of the track! But what surprised ARMYs the most when the song came out two months ago is the fact that he also appeared in the official music video with PSY, a rarity for any BTS member!

The song became an instant hit both domestically and internationally. It bagged the second highest spot on the South Korean streaming platform Melon, while the music video gained 110 million views within a week of its release. SUGA received much praise for his musicality and production skills, as these achievements re-iterated his Midas touch as a musician.

Last month PSY shared some clips of him performing “That That” on stage and its crazy crowd reception. ARMYs were hoping that SUGA would get to perform the song on stage as well and witness the magic he created himself soon.

On December 11, the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards were held at CJ ENM’s Contents World in Paju City, Gyeonggi Province. 2021 MAMA was hosted by Lee Hyori, the first time that a female artist has hosted the annual awards show, and included fun performances and collaborations and a stellar presenter lineup. BTS's held their first concert in LA since the start of the pandemic. The thousands of fans were thrilled to see them and enjoy the live performance. Jin has been getting lots of attention for his live vocals for a long time. However, because of the pandemic, thousands of fans got to hear him live for the first time ever. Even before the concert started, people have already been anticipating hearing Jin's "silver vocals" in person as he is always the one who gets special attention from the public when BTS performs live. During and after the concert, many people shared their impressions. And Jin was the member who got lots of attention for demonstrating the perfect vocals on stage.

He was stable every second from the start until the very end, according to the audience. His voice in real life has a higher pitch and sounds even sweeter. Besides that, Jin is the one in charge of the most vocally challenging parts of BTS's songs, but he performed even better than the studio recording. Jin also got praised for the stage presence that makes you feel how much he dives into every performance giving his whole self to it. His passion for singing can be heard through every note. Another thing that made everyone feel themselves happy is Jin once again highlighting the show with his little creative move. BTS Wins Variety’s 2021 Record Of The Year For “Butter”

Variety has officially named BTS’s “Butter” its Record of the Year! On November 19 local time, Variety announced this year’s list of honorees for its annual Hitmakers celebration. The award recipients will be honored next month at an invitation-only brunch presented by streaming service Peacock.

BTS’s “Butter” will be receiving the 2021 award for Record of the Year, and according to Variety, the group has prepared a special video for the celebratory brunch. Variety’s “Hitmakers” celebration will take place on December 4 local time. Other artists to be awarded at the star-studded event include Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, Lana Del Rey, Jack Harlow, Normani, and more. Congratulations to BTS!

BTS Officially Enters The 2022 GRAMMY's Award

The GRAMMY season has officially begun, and BTS is diving in! Last year, BTS entered to be nominated in three categories for their 2020 album MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 (“Album of the Year”, “Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical”, and “Best Pop Vocal Album”).

They were also entered to be nominated for “Song of the Year”, “Record of the Year”, “Best Music Video”, and “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” for their BE single, “Dynamite”. This year, the supergroup has officially submitted their smash hit “Butter” for the category “Best Pop Duo/Group.” As always, the competition is fierce, but BTS never backs away from a challenge! In this category, “Butter” will be going head to head with “Mood” by 24kGoldn featuring Iann Dior, “Kiss Me More” by Doja Cat featuring SZA, “Without You” by The Kid LAROI and Miley Cyrus, and “Rumors” by Lizzo featuring Cardi B. BTS Announces Release Of Global Edition Of Dicon Magazine Through Amazon - Trending News

K-Pop idol group BTS will be the first to release a global edition package of Dicon magazine. This new edition will be upgraded from the last version as it will include information and photos of all the members.

This 332 page global edition will include behind-the-scenes photos, photo shoots, interviews, and more. This package also comes with a 132 page photo book with closeup and group photos of the members.

BTS, EXO’s D.O., TXT, BLACKPINK, And SEVENTEEN Claim Top Spots On Billboard’s World Albums Chart

Billboard has released its World Albums chart for the week ending on August 7! Once again, BTS landed a total of seven albums in the top 15 this week. “Map of the Soul: 7” spent its 34th non-consecutive week at No. 1, followed by “BE” at No. 5, “Love Yourself: Tear” at No. 8, “Map of the Soul: Persona” at No. 9, “Love Yourself: Her” at No. 10, “Love Yourself: Answer” at No. 11, and “Skool Luv Affair” at No. 13.

Meanwhile, TXT’s “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” rose to No. 3 in its ninth week on the chart. The album also climbed back up several other charts this week, including the Billboard 200, where it extended its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album of the year. BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” maintained its position at No. 6 in its 43rd week on the chart, while SEVENTEEN’s “Your Choice” stayed strong at No. 12 in its sixth. BTS’s Jin Is About To Become An Uncle — He Was Even Asked To Name The Baby

BTS‘s Jin is about to become an uncle! His older brother, Seok Jung, had previously gotten married to his wife, Kim Ah Reum. They recently announced the amazing news that Ah Reum was pregnant! Along with the caption, “Hello? We’re looking forward to being with you,” the couple made it public that they were expecting.

Kim Ah Reum posted a comment of a buttered pancake emoji as well as “Butter-yah, please grow up healthily” leading fans to wonder if that was what they had decided to name the baby.

Seok Jung confirmed the naming. Acquaintance: “Ah I guess it’s butter kkkkkkkkk.” Seok Jung: “I asked my brother to name it.”

He even made sure to reflect the addition to his family in his profile which now reads, “Kim Seok Jung and Kim Ah Reum, and Kim Butter.”

Of course, in South Korea, it is customary for parents to give nicknames to their unborn child during pregnancy, with a real, formal name being decided upon later. Common nicknames include “peanut”, “puppy” and more, so if you think about it, “butter” really isn’t all that far off! We wonder if Jin will contribute to the formal name later on. What an honor for the child to be named by the Jin of BTS! Congratulations to the happy couple and well wishes to the unborn child!

BTS to release R&B remix version of 'Permission To Dance'; To perform on BBC Radio 1’s 'Live Lounge'

Friday bring new music and what better way to commence the weekend with new music from BTS! On July 23 at midnight KST, Big Hit Music announced on Weverse that BTS will be releasing an R&B remix version of 'Permission to Dance' on July 23 at 9:30 am IST. The R&B remix is described as “a song with a distinct 1990’s sensibility whose minimalistic synth sounds will make you focus even more on the vocals.” BTS is still going strong on Billboard Hot 100 charts with the super success of 'Butter' and 'Permission To Dance', and the remix version of the song is BTS' joyful way of thanking ARMY for their constant love and support. 'Permission to Dance' recently made history for BTS when it overtook the group’s previous hit 'Butter' for the No. 1 position on Billboard’s Hot 100. Meanwhile, BBC Radio 1 officially announced that BTS would be making their 'Radio 1 Live Lounge' debut next week.
