If I were to bet on one of the gorosei, I'd like it to be ethanbaron v. Nusjuro. The holy knights approached king harold (same deal they offered loki with shamrock and gunko), but harold refused. Jarul, believing the wisest path was to “sell” the kingdom to the gorosei, sided with them.A fight broke out between harold and jarul, the oldest of the giants.
Loki got involved somehow, but it was jarul who killed the king. Loki took the blame, maybe out of love for his father and loyalty to the kingdom. Now the only other survivor is jarul, conveniently suffering from amnesia, caused by the very sword harold used on him. That sword is going to be pulled out eventually, and when it is, the truth will unfold.
