It reminds me of another book that I am reading where the character describes themselves as a berserker, and when they go berserk in a fight, its only afterwards that they notice all the bodies and destruction that they have wrought without any recollection of actually doing any of it. What if this isn't a throw away line and hajrudin really is a berserker, and the destruction and death of king harold was hajrudin instead? Still think king harold was a bad guy, but a different son killed him than the one who took the blame. The holy knights are twisted but with a brain. Wagering they will get the kids off the island and loki will temporary join the strawhats in a save the giant children arc. I’m near certain I figured out one of the horrible things king harald must have done in the past. Remember about 2 chapters ago where they showed that giant branch with a village on top of it that was cut off because of a fire caused by a lightning strike. I don’t think that lightning strike was an accident. I strongly suspect that king harald caused the destruction of the branch and the village by using ragnir or some other method.
