Honestly, some of the best character writing I’ve witnessed in a while! So simple yet elegant. I think okamas are literally the representation of that. Iirc ivanknov's introduction touched on that aspect of being an okama. I think part of why oda draws them weirdly is to show that this has always been the okama's strength and life motto self love. It's easy to love yourself when you like what you look like or people adore you.

Massive difference between trans that look good and trans that still look so masculine. Oda could have drawn ivankov with her female form all the time as fan service but he chose to draw her as this because I think this is the form ivankov feels herself the most. It’s also one the most hype sanji moments of all time.
The “It’s time you lower your damn head” is one sanji’s best lines all time. I love too that we’re getting a look into what sanji and zoro worked on during their traning pre time skip. I have a feeling we’re gonna get to see a glimpse of everyone’s traning hopefully. Love the contrast between sanji and zoro's developments. Zoro's brute as usual, but sanji has always been the more sensitive one of the two, so this portrayal is not just suitable, but also a logical step for him to become a wing of the pirate king in a balanced way with zoro. Genuinely think this is the best character driven chapter ever. Usually, oda is not direct like this, but rather incredibly indirect with implied thoughts and dialogue. The fact that he spelt all of this out kinda shows how important this message was to him as well, but also how complex sanji as a character is and has been throughout this entire story.
